The Story
At a full childhood
height of 7" everybody says Petey P'Doodle is a hand full. He lives in
P’Doodleville a little subdivision outside Warner Robins, Georgia.
Petey and his friends spend the day dreaming about Peanut Butter and grape
jelly sandwiches and far off places like Atlanta. He likes saying things
and watching grownups tighten their mouths till their lips disappear. When
he visited Aunt Mattie Grace up in Barnsville she made him his favorite
coconut and marshmallow cake. She told him "Petey P'Doodle, some day you
are going to drive women crazy." Petey thought about his mommy and
figured he had already accomplished that. She once told a baby sitter to
just give him chocolate if there were any problems. He thought that was a
pretty good suggestion and wanted me to pass that on to you. It works
sometimes.

Petey P'Doodle is designed and sculpted by James Peacock and reproduced in
fine artist hand painted porcelain and hand applied fine English Mohair.
At 7", he is self standing and a hand full.
Like lots of little guys, it's almost impossible to get Petey P'Doodle to
keep his hand sewn pants pulled up and most of the time his little shirt
collar is turned up. His costume is hand sewn fabric. He has sculpted
detailed and hand painted shoes and socks and his little shoe laces are
sculpted and hand painted.
I've washed Petey P'Doodle's face and hands for these pictures, but
goodness knows how long they will stay that way.
Petey P'Doodle is jointed at the shoulders and at the hips.
